SOME MEMO,
LOOKS TO ME LIKE SOMEONE DOESN'T WANT ANY SURPRISE VISITS BECAUSE THEN IT'S OUT OF HIS CONTROL. FUNNY, BUT, I BET THAT RUBBER STAMPERS NEVER GOT A MEMO LIKE THIS BEFORE, ONLY WHEN A BOARD MEMBER EXHIBITS THAT HE CAN THINK AND TALK AT THE SAME TIME, DOES THE BOARD GET A MEMO AIMED AT HIM (STEVE KING). I THOUGHT THAT THE BOARD IS IN CONTROL OF THE ADMINISTRATION, LOOKS LIKE THE ADMINISTRATION DOESN'T WANT ANYONE
LOOKING OVER THEIR SHOULDER. THEY WOULD RATHER SHOW ONLY A SLIGHT OF HAND.

Steve,

This is Daniel Mayo, the guy who ran for school board back in 2003. I hope all is well.

I'm sorry, but uh, it sounds to me like the administration is power grabbing big time and trying to control the board. Sorry, but it is the other way around.

Keep fighting the good fight. Board members NEED to be involved in daily operations sometimes in order to understand the organization. You guys are the peoples' representatives and the BOSSES of the administration. Sounds me like they just sent a memo trying to tell you "oh, by the way, I'll use the "we have work to do card" in order to keep you from seeing exactly what is going on in the schools."

I go on for hours about this, but making it so you have to always plan to go to the school is just ridiculous. The administration would NEVER make preparations for you to come there....(please note the sarcasm).
